 Hello to all my fellow animal guardians out there! Here is a little bit about me; my name is Rhiannon and I am 33 years old. I have been in love with animals since I was a small child. When I was only 5 years old I would go to our neighbor's house and ask to play with their dog, Boogie. Yup their dog, not their kids! Now that I am all grown up, I still like to "borrow" pets. Just ask my husband. I think animals are absolutely wonderful, and since my husband and I have no children, I have devoted my life to caring for all pets. Big to small I watch them all! Pets really are my family, and I take care of each one just as they were my very own. I offer pet sitting at my home or yours! I am not a kennel or boarding facility; I am a private home. When staying at my home, your pets will have all the same privileges and care my own dog has. That personal touch is what sets me apart from others, and I truly LOVE what I do! You can take comfort in knowing that I am a professional pet sitter, insured, and I have my business license in the state of California. I am also certified in pet first aid and CPR; should an emergency arise, your furry loved ones are in great hands. I live in Temecula, CA and will take care of pets within a 10 mile radius from my home including Murrieta, CA (special exceptions may be made.) In order to meet the needs of my clients on a later schedule, I offer extremely flexible hours of operation at no extra charge. Work late, or want to go to dinner after work? No problem, I will be there for you and your pet(s). I do not use kennels or crates, unless provided by you. Special needs pets are welcome at no extra charge.  Is your dog sad, lonely, destructive, or full of energy while you're away at work all day? I can help by giving your dog a nice long walk outside in the fresh air. Research has shown that "regular daily exercise will dramatically improve much of your dogs unwanted behavioral problems." Please see my dog daycare section as the prices are similar to my dog walking service and your dog will really appreciate the extra time and socialization with other dogs.

 Dogs are by nature social pack animals, and most do not like to be left alone for any period of time. They get bored, lonely, sad, which can often lead to destructive tendencies. Play keeps a dog's body and mind active - and makes a healthier, happier, better behaving pet. Think of how happy your dog is to see you when you come home. They want to play while you want to relax and unwind. Wouldn't it be nice relaxing with your happy and well-exercised pet? Here is a quote from a client: "She was happy and tired later that night which is a sure sign that she was with you!!" The opportunity to play with other dogs, even if it only comes once a week, will be something your pet will eagerly look forward to. Your pet will get the chance to bond and make new friends, which they will look forward to seeing. Some special extras your pet will receive when at our home are:

 Looking for a private home to leave your pet(s)? Do you have a pet with special needs? Do you want your pet(s) to have a great time and be safe? Would you feel better knowing that your call is welcomed day or night to see how your pet is doing? I provide all of these things and much more! 
At my home, your pets will be treated just like my own family. He/she will have the same privileges and care my own dog receives. We have a doggie door for those that know how to use it; they are welcome to go in and out at their own convenience. If not, I will be happy to let them in and out any time they would like. They might even learn how to use the dog door by the time you return! We have also built a deluxe doggie house for shelter from the sun or rain. It can fit many dogs comfortably and it is carpeted. There are also soft dog beds and blankets in there to make it extra cozy for our special friends.
Some special extras your pet will receive when staying with us are:
 If requested by you, I can take a video of your pet(s) and send it to you through email while you are away so you can see what your pet(s) are up to. This service is free. I will also be happy to provide you with photos of your pet(s) while you are away. Some clients have even commented that they are going to frame some of the photos I have taken. This service is also complimentary. If I don't know much about the breed of dog you have, I will do research before I care for him/her so that I am more educated on his/her specific traits and temperament. 
This is not a corporate or franchised run business, which means I am able to accommodate you and your pets on a more personal level. But as such I am not able to accommodate a large number of pets at once. Early booking is advised to guarantee your pets care with me at my home.
*Please be advised, before I am able to watch any pet in my home, I need to do an evaluation to make sure he/she is able to play nicely with other pets. I would prefer you drop your dog off for 1 hour to be evaluated. There is no charge for this and if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, go to dinner or to a friends house, I am willing to keep him/her for an additional hour for free if you want to make plans. It would be advised to have your pet evaluated as early as possible prior to the pet sitting date. When staying with us, please bring your own dog food, treats, and a leash. If your dog is fed a raw food diet, I am fine feeding your dog that way as I have a few clients who feed this way. If you wish you may bring toys, bedding, or anything else that will make your dog feel more comfortable while staying with us.
There is a charge of $3.00 per hour for each additional hour past the 24 hours. Additional dog is $1.00 per hour for each additional hour past the 24 hours. Example: You drop off your pup at 10am on Monday and pick him/her up at 4pm on Tuesday; your rate would be $68. ($50 per 24 hours for one dog, and then $18 for the additional 6 hours.) |
 I am also happy to watch your pet(s) at your home. Each visit is 30 minutes. Depending on your request and the needs of your pet, the 30 minutes can include a walk, feeding, providing of fresh water, and of course last but not least lots of tender loving care including giving your animals lots of petting, hugs, and kisses! I will also clean up after your pet as part of my included services. Additionally if you request I will be happy to water your plants, bring in your newspaper/mail, turn on/off lights/radios/TVs, take the trash to the curb on trash day, turn the blinds/curtains, and any other special requests you may have all for no additional cost. Please note I am experienced with saltwater aquariums as I have my own, I can clean your tank (for a minor charge) and feed your fish safely. I have basic Equine knowledge, and I will be happy to provide Equine care while you are away. I will watch any pet you have, including but not limited too (in case I missed something) dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, rats, chinchillas, degus, ferrets, mice, guinea pigs, snakes, birds, horses, iguanas, lizards, pot-bellied pigs, turtles, frogs, and rabbits. Quick stop visits are only available as an add-on to regular 30 minute visits. The only exception to this applies to people that need me to make a quick stop and check-in on their dog to let them out during the day while they are at work. As per my policy, I am sorry, but I will not let any dog go more than 12 hours in between visits. The only exception to this is if your dog(s) are outside dogs, or they have access to a doggie door. This policy does not apply to cats, or other animals.

Want dog daycare without the inconvenience of dropping-off or picking-up your dogs? I can help! I offer a pet taxi service. I can pick your dogs up from your home and bring them to my home for the day or overnight. I can also drop your pets off at your home whenever you would like. Transportation to the groomers, vet, or anywhere else is also available! Don't be fooled by my car's size, it can hold many dogs comfortably! I always use the A/C to make sure all my furry passengers are cool and happy. Water is also provided in the car on those extra hot days. I can even secure your beloved pets in a seatbelt that you provide.
